This 2021 summit features a panel sharing initiatives and includes an opportunity for community dialog.

Our panelists and their topics include:

Vaughn Villaverde Director of Advocacy, AACI [moderator]

Dr. Nira Singh, PsyD Director of Behavioral Health, AACI On the mental health impacts from AAPI hate, and helping people become advocates.

Dr. Michael Chang Executive Director, APALI FightAsianHate.org's We Belong Coalition and organizing public officials to respond meaningfully to anti-Asian hate.

Angelica Cortez Executive Director, LEAD Filipino LEAD Filipino joined the statewide Justice for Angelo Quinto! Justice for All! Coalition in February 2021 to demand justice and retribution for Angelo Quinto and all of those stricken by police brutality.

Gabriela Garzón Gupta Civic Engagement Community Organizer, Asian Law Alliance How police violence hurts us all. In wake of anti-Asian violence, there have been calls for more policing *and* calls for solidarity. In order to have true solidarity, we need to support solutions that help all our communities.
